The Jackson International Food and Art Festival’s parade of cultures is always a beautiful display of cultures from around the world! From Argentina to Australia, from Germany to Nigeria, from Japan to India, from Mexico to Algeria, people from all over the globe who have come and settled right here in Jackson, TN! America is one of the few places in the world that such a display is even possible, much less celebrated! Jackson has many flavors to it and this Parade show cases them all! The Parade will start at 11:00pm sharp. Please stop eating for just a few seconds and enjoy your neighbors from around the world! Some of the countries that have participated in the past are:

America | Japan | India | Mexico | Pakistan |Philippines | Nigeria | Peru | Argentina | Brazil | Angola | Slovakia | Germany | Italy | China| Taiwan | Celts | Native Americans | Ethiopia | England | Syria |  Mozambique | Korea | Algeria | Egypt

At the Jackson International Food and Art festival you can view art from all over the world and from all across Jackson and Madison County! Art is something that all cultures have in common and we are proud to showcase art from around the world. “Fox Lot” is transformed into a mini art center, with art activities for the children. In addition, the JIFAF is partnering with Union University and the Jackson Arts Council on a city wide student art and poetry contest.  We are excited to see how our young people view their culture through art and poetry! Art from the contest, and from all around the world, will be displayed from 10 am to 4 pm September 29th 2018! Come on down and take a look, make some art, and be amazed!
